Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the Respondents 1 to 3 to produce the body or person of the detenue namely Sandhya (D/o.Santhavaliyan) daughter of the petitioner aged about 16 years before this Court and set her at liberty and hand over the detenue to the petitioner.

(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's daughter, by name, Sandhya, aged about 16 years, found missing from 21.08.2021, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the 3rd respondent police. H.C.P(MD)No.1413 of 2021 Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the very same petitioner has already filed another Habeas Corpus Petition, for the same relief in H.C.P.(MD)1322 of 2021, which is pending.

3.In the above circumstances, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is not maintainable. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
