PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing to expedite the trial proceedings within the time limit stipulated by this Court in S.T.C.No. 459 of 2018 pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirapalli. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Saravanan For R1 : Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi Government Advocate (Crl.Side)

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirapalli to expedite the trial process in S.T.C.No. 459 of 2018.

2.The case has been registered in Crime No.459 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 279 and 339 of IPC on 26.02.2018. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that he is working in BHEL Company. Because of the pendency of this case, his promotion process has been affected.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the 1st respondent so far 8 witnesses have been examined and the Investigation Officer only remains to be examined. 4.Let the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirapalli summon the Investigation Officer, expedite the trial process in S.T.C.No. 459 of 2018 and dispose of the same on merits within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
