O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to remove the name of the 5th respondent's father viz., Velu and include his name in the revenue records relating to S.No.363/9D at Arittapatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Alagumani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. Though notice sent to the 5th respondent is returned with an endorsement 'unclaimed' and since no adverse order is going to be passed against the 5th respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. 2/6

4. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the subject property in the year 1990 from one Peiyapillai under a sale deed dated 21.03.1990. The name of the 5th respondent's father Velu had been wrongly included in the patta for the property in Patta No.1070. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 17.06.2022 seeking deletion of the name of the 5th respondent's father and inclusion of his name in the revenue records. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice 3/6

to the petitioner and the 5th respondent.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
