ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner challenges the summon issued to the petitioner for taking part in a peace meeting.
3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that peace meeting was already held. This part of the prayer does not survive. The temple is located in a village. I have already held that there is no need to obtain permission from the revenue or Police authorities for conducting village temple festival.

4.Be that as it may, there is objection only from the third respondent who also belongs to the petitioner's community. The third respondent states that there is objection regarding one Ponnukalai from officiating as priest. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that if that be so, they will make alternative arrangements. 5.Since the third respondent is otherwise not having objection, the petitioner is at liberty to conduct the petition mentioned temple festival. It is placed on record that the petitioner will see to it that Ponnukalai does not officiate as temple priest.
6.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
