RESPONDENTS Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to pass an ad interim direction to direct the respondents to pay all benefits including retirement benefits and pension benefits from 01.1.2019 and continue to pay every month pending disposal of the above WP and thus render justice.

ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.MD.IBRAHIM ALI, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.A.Muthu Karuppan, Additional Government Pleader, for Respondents, while admitting the WP., the court made the following order:-

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated, 13.12.2018 passed by the third respondent awarding the punishment of "Reducation of Pay by one month from Rs.66,200 to Rs.50,700/- in the pay scale of Rs.37,700/- - 1,19,500/- in the pay Band of 20 to 11 without cumulative effect but affecting the pension". The petitioner has also filed a petition to grant an ad interim direction to direct the respondents to pay all benefits including retirement benefits and pension benefits from 01.01.2019 and continue to pay every month pending disposal of the Writ Petition.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may give an appropriate direction to the respondents to grant retirement and pensionary benefits to the petitioner.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, there shall be an order of interim direction, directing the petitioner to give an appropriate application to the second respondent for granting retirement benefits as well as the pensionary benefits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
