This petition is filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.157 of 2014, dated 04.03.2014 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.157 of 2014, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 471 and 420 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of eight years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks two months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.
