The criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to investigate the matter and file a final report in Crime No.31 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506 (ii) of the Indian Penal Code, on the file of the respondent Police. Since no final report has been filed so far, the present petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that a complaint filed by the petitioner has been enquired into and also a negative final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram on 15.07.2019.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner's complaint has been enquired into and the negative final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, no further adjudication is required in this petition. The Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly. However, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
