Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased a house site in Old Survey No.718/1J, Extent 0.10.0, now New Town Plan Survey No.Ward F, 5th Block, T.S.No.53 extent 0.0186.0 Square meters https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

extent of (2205 square feet), Sevalur Village, Manapparai, Trichy District, during the year 1998. From the said date onwards, the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the property. Subsequently, on 27.09.2016, he has made an application before the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to issue patta in his favour. Since no order has been passed till date, he has filed this writ petition.

4. In view of the fact that the petitioner's application is pending with the third respondent without any disposal from 27.09.2016, the third respondent is directed to consider the said application and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
