Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, in the Birth Register, his name is mentioned as C.B.Balaji and in other certificates, the expanded version of his name ie., Balaji Chinnakonda Babuji has been mentioned. Hence, the petitioner is said to have made a representation before the respondent on 25.10.2016 to correct his name. Since no order has been passed by the respondent, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4. In the above circumstances, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.10.2016, and

pass suitable orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
