Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

According to the petitioner, they have filed an application before the respondents on 01.06.2016, seeking recognition to run a school in the name and style of Kamaraj Vidyalaya Nursery and Primary School, at Pudukottai. The said application has not been considered so far. Hence, they have filed this Writ Petition.

4. In view of the fact that the petitioner's application, dated 01.06.2016, is pending with the 1st respondents, the first

respondent is directed to consider the said application and pass suitable orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
