PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the application for transfer submitted by the petitioner to the respondents on 22.11.2020 for transfer from her present working place as Graduate Science Assistant at Kannamuthampatti Village in Krishnarayapuram Panchayat Union, Karur District to Krishnarayapuram Panchayat Union Middle School at Karur District.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.11.2020 for transfer.
2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that she is a handicapped woman and though she has made an application dated 22.11.2020 to the respondents seeking to transfer, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.In reply, Mr.N.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that no counselling has been held to date for transfer and during the course of next counselling, the petitioner's request will be considered.

W.P.(MD) No.17588 of 2020 5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has also agreed with the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader.
6.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to pass the following directions:- the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's request for transfer as and when the next counselling for transfer is held, as submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents;
7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
