ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to appoint a permanent Sub-Registrar in the Pavoorchathiram Sub-Registration Office, Tenkasi Registration District, Tenkasi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2025.

2. The High Court is not expected to interfere with the routine administration of the Government Departments and recruitment. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that regular Sub-Registrar has not been posted in the Sub-Registrar's office in the Sub-Registration Office, Poovarchathiram, Tenkasi District.

2/5

3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Sub-Registrar is receiving documents from the precedence and registering the same by following the procedures as contemplated under the Registration Act. The High Court in exercise of the powers of judicial review cannot issue a direction to transfer or force to appoint an officer on temporary basis or otherwise which is beyond the scope of the powers of judicial review.

4. With the above observations, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
