ORDER

The petitioner seeks an inquiry in respect of the assignment in his favour.

2.Mr.K.S.Selva Ganesan, learned counsel for the State, accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. On instructions, he submits that the relevant assignment order was cancelled in view of the breach of the conditions relating thereto. 3.In view of the submission of learned counsel for the State that the assignment in favour of the petitioner was cancelled, nothing survives of the present writ petition. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the cancellation order in accordance with law. The State shall serve a copy of the cancellation order on the petitioner.
