ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to comply with the order of the 1st respondent, dated 21.04.2016 and provide appropriate information to the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this court and consequently direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action against the 2nd respondent under Section 20(1) and (2) of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

According to the petitioner, on 26.10.2015, the petitioner approached the second respondent/Block Development Officer, Aavudaiyarkovil Union, Pudukkottai District under the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Right to Information Act and sought an information. Since the application was not considered in time, he approached the first respondent and the first respondent, in turn, by an order dated 21.04.2016, directed the second respondent to given appropriate information to the petitioner within 15 days. In spite of the same, the second respondent did not give information. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition, seeking a direction to the second respondent to comply with the direction already given by the first respondent and provide appropriate information to the petitioner.
3. It is unfortunate that the petitioner's application is pending with the second respondent from 26.10.2015 and despite the order passed by the first respondent dated 21.04.2016, sofar, no order has been passed in the application. The act of the second respondent is highly deprecated.
4.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending with the second respondent from 26.10.2015 onwards, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, on the basis of the direction already issued by the first respondent dated 21.04.2016 and pass suitable orders, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
