O R D E R

This petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground by considering his application dated 06.01.2021.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, he has submitted an application on 06.01.2021 to the respondents seeking appointment on compassionate grounds. The said application is still pending before the respondent corporation without any progress and no orders has been passed. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner has furnished the requisite documents to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

However, there has been no communication from the respondent Corporation. Hence the prayed sought for may be considered.

5. The Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, would submit that the first respondent shall consider his representation and communicate the status of the said application to the petitioner pending before the respondent Corporation.

6. Considering the aforesaid submissions and the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2021 and communicate the status of the said application to the petitioner at the earliest within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
