Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, to direct the respondent police in Crime No. 19 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police and file report within a period of stipulated time.

ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.19 of 2023. 1/4

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondent police on instructions submits that the case in Crime No.19 of 2023 was enquired and closed as mistake of fact. RCS Notice was served to the petitioner on 10.04.2025. Final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court -I, Srivaikundam and the Court has also issued notice to the petitioner for filing his objections, if any and posted the matter to 28.06.2025.

3.This Court considered the rival submissions made. 4.Since it is reported that the final report had already been filed and RCS notice was also served on the petitioner, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. The respondent police shall furnish a copy of the final report to the petitioner.
