ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the official respondents to survey his property situated in Survey No.236/12A2A, with an extent of 0.1.50 Ares, in Seelnaickanpatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering his representation dated 21.04.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.K.Anbumanikandantamilsooriyan,
learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 5 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 4. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the subject property originally belonged to his father, Palanivelu. He executed a settlement deed on 23.08.2022 in favour of the petitioner. From the date of settlement deed, the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the property and revenue records also mutated in his name. Hence, he submitted a representation before the third respondent on 21.04.2025 seeking survey of the property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 5 would submit that though the petitioner submitted a representation on 21.04.2025 before the third respondent, proper online application has not been filed. It is further stated that the petitioner
failed to submit the title and revenue documents in support of the claim over the subject property. Therefore, the representation of the petitioner has not been considered.
5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to submit a proper online application along with the documents to substantiate his claim over the property within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On submission of proper online application, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of submission of online application. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
