ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed, seeking a direction to respondent 2 to 5 to update the Online records, pertaining to the property situated in Survey No.
287/4, 289/4, 290/1, 290/2, 290/3, 292/2, 296/4, and 300/4 of Mangulam Group, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District, pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No. 22048 of 2023, dated 19.03.2025.
2. It is not in dispute that the subject property was originally assigned in favour of the vendor of the first petitioner, petitioners 2 to 4 and one Selvam. Subsequently, assignment order was cancelled on the ground that the petitioners violated certain assignment conditions. The said order was challenged by the petitioners in W.P.No.22048 of 2023 before this Court. The Writ Petition was allowed, quashing the order of cancellation. Therefore, the petitioners submitted a representation before the second respondent on 02.06.2025, seeking inclusion of their names in the digital revenue records. The same has not been considered. Hence, they have come before this Court.
3. Since the cancellation of the assignment order was already quashed by this Court in W.P.No.22048 of 2023, there may not be any impediment for the official respondents to consider the request of the petitioners for inclusion of their names in the digital revenue records. It is not the case of the respondents that the order passed in the above said Writ Petition has been challenged by way of an intra court appeal.
4. Under these circumstances, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 02.06.2025, and
positively pass orders for mutation of digital revenue records within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. 26.06.2025 NCC :
