ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 herein to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.05.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the third respondent is the petitioner's husband and respondents 4 and 5 are her inlaws. The respondents 4 and 5 are continuously interfering with the matrimonial life of the petitioner and the 3rd respondent. As a result of which she is not able to take forward her matrimonial life with peace and comity with the 3rd respondent. In this regard, she has already lodged a complaint dated 22.05.2026. However, no action was taken. Hence this petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate submitted that proper enquiry is ongoing and the respondent police is taking serious efforts by resorting 2/4

the parties to mediation centre and very soon a positive result would emanate.

4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to conclude the enquiry as expditiously as possible by giving proper mediation sensitization to the respondents and conclude the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 11.06.2026 NCC : yes / no Index : yes / no pnn 3/4
