Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the TASMAC shop situated near Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ramanathapuram, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) In view of the order of the First Bench of the Principal Seat, a review is taken by the respondents in all TASMAC shops and time has been granted till 31.03.2017 to close down all TASMAC shops located in prohibited areas or even otherwise found not suitably located. Since the petitioner has approached the Court, in the process of such review, specifically, these aspects will be considered.

2. We are, thus, not inclined to maintain this writ petition at this stage and dispose of the same with liberty to the petitioner to revive the writ petition, in case, post time period fixed, there is still some grievance. No costs.
