This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of 'Adal Padal' on 13.08.2019 night at about 08.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., Velrampatti, Arulmigu Sri Muthu Mariyamman Thirukovil, situated at Neerpalani Post, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukottai District and to provide adequate police protection based on petitioner representation dated 24.07.2019.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 13.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 24.07.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
