ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuing a direction the respondents to promote the petitioner in any of the existing vacant posts of Bill Collector, Junior Assistant, Sanitary Supervisor and Office Assistant available in the Town Panchayat of Theni District within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.A. Muthu Karuppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr. A.K. Baskara Pandian, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for R4. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Though this Writ Petition has been filed to give a positive direction to the respondents, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.07.2019.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the 4th respondent within a specified time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner before this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.07.2019, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
