ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in C.C.No.09 of 2024 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the said case within a time limit.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner herein is the wife of the second respondent and based on her complaint a case in Cr.No.14 of 2023 has been registered and a final report has also been filed for the offences under Sections 294(b), 498(A) and 323 IPC. Further, he submits that the trial Court has not even issued summon to the accused and the case is pending without any progress. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the case is posted to 24.09.2025 for the appearance of the accused and the learned Magistrate is taking up the cases on chronological basis.

4.This Court has considered the submissions made on either side and perused the available materials.

5.It appears that the final report filed only in the year 2024. The case is also a matrimonial dispute. The trial Court is expected to take up the cases only on chronological basis and therefore, this Court finds no merit in this petition. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
