ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Special Judge for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Pudukkottai to accept the surrender of the petitioner/1st accused and consider the petitioner's bail application and grant bail on the date of surrender itself in Crime No.875 of 2021 dated 24.07.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner is involved in Crime No.903 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections147, 269, 294(b) and 323 of IPC.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.14140 of 2021 3.Since the petitioner is involved in previous cases, discretionary relief of direction cannot be granted. Even though the co-accused have been granted similar relief in Cr.M.P.No.589 of 2021, I find no merit in this petition. This petition deserves to be dismissed and accordingly, it stands dismissed.
