ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.3 of 2020 pending on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department, Tirunelveli District. 2.It is seen that the petitioner was arrayed as fourth accused in Crime No.3 of 2020 which was registered for the offences under Sections 120(B), 167, 109, 34 of IPC and 13(2) r/w 7, 13(1)(d)(i)(ii)(iii) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Kanyakumari Detachment, would submit that after completion of investigation, case has been recommended to drop further action against all the four accused and the Government of Animal Husbandry Diarying Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department accepted the recommendation and Further Action was Dropped as per G.O.(D).No.556 of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare (MP.2) Department, dated 13.12.2022.

4.Since the case has been closed as "Action Dropped", this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
