ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the respondents to pay the medical expenses of Rs.1,70,971/- incurred by the petitioner towards her son's medical treatment, as per the New Health Insurance Scheme for Government Servants and Pensioners of the year 2014 and 2016.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent insurance company submits that the petitioner has not produced the original documents and though her claim was approved, it has not been paid. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already produced all the necessary original documents.

3.The learned Counsel for the insurance company submits that if the petitioner produces even the copies of the documents, they would pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks.

4. Considering the submission made on either side, the petitioner is directed to produce either original documents or copies of the documents in support of her claim, to the 3rd respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the documents, the respondents shall take a decision within a period of four weeks from thereon.

5. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. 3/6
