Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to provide the new electricity connection to the petitioner's agriculture motor pump in his well situated in S.No.512/2F Senthurai Village Group, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the recommendation and filed inspection report of the second respondent dated 02.09.2014.

According to the petitioner, his father died in the year 1994, thereafter, the first respondent has issued readiness notice to the petitioner's father for providing electricity service connection. Subsequently, the second respondent / Assistant Executive Engineer made a inspection of well, and sent a recommendation dated 02.09.2014 to the first respondent for granting service connection. hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, since already the second respondent inspected the site and filed a report recommending to give service connection, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
