ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct and complete the investigation pending in C.No.30/GDP/DCB-TNI/2026 on the file of the second respondent within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a complaint dated 18.02.2026 seeking action as against the respondents 3 to 10, for the cheating committed by them in the 2/5

administration of the college. Even though the parties were called for enquiry, no further action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner sought for the indulgence of this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate, submitted that due to the non-cooperation of the petitioner as well as the 3 to 10 respondents, the enquiry is still pending.

4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record. Since, no adverse order is proposed to be passed as against the respondents 3 to 10 in this writ petition, notice to them is dispensed with.

5. In view of the above submission, the second respondent police is directed to put the petitioner as well as the private respondents on notice under Section 64 of BNSS, conduct an enquiry and conclude the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to properly cooperate with the enquiry by providing all the necessary documents to substantiate his claim.
