This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to fix the petitioner's service seniority on par with the petitioner's recruited batch mates selected in the year 2022 in the appropriate place with service and monetary benefits within the time frame.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/4

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
