ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 323, 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that petition enquiry is pending and no case has been registered against these petitioners. The complaint has been given by the defacto complainant stating that due to enmity over the land dispute, the accused persons namely petitioners herein and others caused assualt https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.12078 of 2023 to the defacto complainant. Pending the above said enquiry, this petition has been filed.

3. Since no case has been registered against these petitioners and only the petition enquiry is pending, the respondent Police is directed to complete the above said enquiry within a week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. During the course of enquiry, if any trouble arise to the petitioner, he can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above said direction and liberty, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
