Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to measure the petitioners Punja lands in S.F.No.343/3B with an extent of 0.05.0 Hectares and in S.F.No.343/4 with an extent of 0.52.0 Hectares in Patta No.1024 in Alaguppatti Village Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2016. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Sivalingam For Respondents : Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, Additional Government Pleader

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of agricultural land in Survey No.343/3B and 343/4 in Alagupatti Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District. Hence, he submitted a representation before the respondents on 24.08.2016 to measure his land and he has also paid necessary fees for the same. But, so far, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, he has filed this Writ Petition.

4. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, 24.08.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, with regard to measurement of land, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
