Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, he is residing in Survey No.236/35 in Mela Maruthuvakkudi, Aduthurai, which is classified as Natham Puramboke. On 22.07.2016, he sent a representation to the respondents seeking to grant house-site patta to him. But, so far, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, he has filed this Writ Petition.

Since the petitioner's representation, dated 22.07.2016 is pending with the second respondent without any disposal, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
