PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.279 of 2020 dated 02.03.2020 and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent herein to complete the investigation and file final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.279 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Section 338 of IPC on 02.03.2020. Even though nearly 11⁄2 years lapsed, so far no progress has been in the investigation.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent seeks 6 months time to complete the investigation and file the final report.

4.However, it is seen that no witness has been examined so far. It appears that it is a medical negligence issue. The respondent herein has to follow the proper procedures that has been issued in this regard. 6 months time is granted as requested by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) to the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court. After filing the final report, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
