Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta in respect of the Petitioner's land in T.S.No.168 (F Block) situated at Kottaiyur Sekkalai Karaikudi Taluk Sivagangai District by considering his representation dated 24.03.2016.

4. According to the petitioner, he purchased the house site measuring to an extent of 4000 sq. fts. , in the above said survey

number, by way of a registered sale deed, dated 01.02.2016. Subsequently, on 24.03.2016, he submitted a representation before the respondent to transfer patta in his name. But, so far, no order has been passed. Hence, he has filed this writ petition.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation, dated 24.03.2016 is pending before the respondent, without any disposal, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass suitable orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
