Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. According to the petitioner, he is a licensee in respect of one Catering and Bakery Stall in Dindigul Railway Station in Stall No.16 in Platform Nos.1 and 2 and the licence period is going to be expired on 30.11.2016. According to him, he is entitled to the benefit of the judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal Nos.816 to 820 of 2016, dated 29.01.2016. Hence, he made a representation to the Authorities to renew the licence as per the judgment passed by the Honourable Supreme Court of India. The said representation was made on 24.09.2016. But, so far, no order has been passed. Since the licence period is going to be expired on 30.11.2016, the petitioner seeks early disposal of his representation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned standing counsel for the respondents would submit that the second respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass suitable orders on the same on merit.
5. In such circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.09.2016 and pass suitable orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 28.11.2016.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
