ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking removal of the objection entry made in the Guideline Value Register on the basis of the petitioner's application in in respect of an extent of 5 cents comprised in S.No.23/5 Kongarupuliyankulam, Chekkanoorani, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2026.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the material records of the case, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in S.No.23/5. Earlier, when a dispute arose with two private individuals with reference to 5 cents on the western side of the said property, the petitioner approached the civil Court and also filed a writ petition before this Court seeking to restrain the authorities from granting layout approval. Inspite of the injunction, approval was granted, and upon filing of a contempt petition, the approval was withdrawn. Under the said circumstances, an endorsement was made in the Guideline Value Register as against the said survey number, indicating that there was an objection and a Court order in respect of the said survey number. Subsequently, the dispute was resolved, the suit was withdrawn, 2/4

and the writ petition was also disposed of. The injunction order is no longer in force. Therefore, the petitioner has made the present writ petition.

3. The learned Government Standing Counsel would submit that the representation will be considered and due entries will be made in the register.

In view of the representation made, the first respondent shall take up the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2026 and, in view of the fact that the injunction order is no longer in force and the dispute relating to the said survey number has already been resolved, make an appropriate entry in the same register to the effect that the dispute has subsequently been resolved and that the injunction order is no longer operative in respect of the said survey number, so that there will be no impediment for the petitioner to deal with the property in the manner known to law.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
