ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Since no order prejudicial to the interest of respondent Nos.4 and 5, is going to be passed, notice to respondent Nos.4 & 5 is dispensed with.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

According to the petitioner, on 18.06.2016, he has filed an appeal petition before the first respondent against the order passed by the Tahsildar, under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act. But, so far, no order has been passed by the first respondent. Hence, he has filed this Writ Petition.
4. In such circumstances, since the petitioner's appeal petition, dated 18.06.2016, is pending before the first respondent without any disposal, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as respondent Nos.4 and 5, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed.
