Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta to the petitioner's property situated at Sivagangai District, Karaikudi Taluk, Managiri Sukkanendhal Group, Natham Old S.F.No.119/12 part, Present S.F.No.395/10, measuring to an extent of 0.17.25 acres, in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2016, within a stipulated period. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. According to the petitioner, as per the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.89 of 2011 on the file of the Sub-Court, Devakottai, he is entitled for the suit property. Subsequently, he submitted a representation before the second respondent/Tahsildar, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District, to grant patta in his favour. But, so far, no order has been passed, he has filed this Writ Petition.

5. In such circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.09.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
