O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This contempt petition has been instituted to punish the contemnor herein for her willful disobedience of the order dated 11.01.2021 made in W.P.(MD) No.11288 of 2020, a Public Interest Litigation.

2. In the said writ petition, this Court passed the following order:

"6. From the above, respondent No.2 is also conscious of the difficulties that are being faced by the general public of that area. In such view of the matter, respondent No.2 is directed to interact with the other respondents for the purpose of construction of sub-way, by facilitating the acquisition proceedings.

7. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs."

3. In pursuance of the order of this Court, the respondent herein viz., the District Collector, Ramanathapuram District, has interacted with the officials of the Southern Railways. They have exchanged their views and the reports submitted by the Revenue 2/8

Authorities. Accordingly, the Divisional Engineer (North), Southern Railways, Madurai has given an advice as follows: 3/8

5. In view of the above said finding, this Court is of the considered view that the respondent has not committed any contempt willfully and thus, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
