Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to give the permission and protection for conducting Aaadal Paadal Orchestra Programme on 14.08.2019 and drama scheduled to be conducted on 16.08.2019 and 17.08.2019 in connection with St.Ignanachiar Koil, Kanni Mariyal Vinnaerpu Festival, situated at Avarampatti, Malaiadipatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2019. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to give permission and protection for conducting Aaadal Paadal Orchestra Programme on 14.08.2019 and drama scheduled to be conducted on 16.08.2019 and 17.08.2019 in connection with St.Ignanachiar Koil, Kanni Mariyal Vinnaerpu Festival, situated at Avarampatti, Malaiadipatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2019.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that, seeking permission and police protection to conduct the Aaadal Paadal Orchestra Programme on 14.08.2019 and drama on 16.08.2019 and 17.08.2019, in connection with St.Ignanachiar Koil, Kanni Mariyal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Vinnaerpu Festival, the petitioner has given a representation on 26.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
