Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is to finalize the tender process in respect of tender

No.13/CC/CN/MS/06/(OT), dated 20.05.2016 in respect of Serial No.11, in favour of petitioner.

4. According to the petitioner, the respondents called for tender for construction of road over bridge between Thirumangalam and Kallikudi Station. The above said tender was called for on 20.05.2016 and the petitioner submitted his bid and the last date for submitting the bid was 06.07.2016 and on the same day itself, bids were opened. But, so far, the respondents did not finalise the tender. Hence, she has filed this writ petition.

5. In such circumstances, without going into the question, whether the petitioner's bid should be accepted or not, the second respondent is directed to finalize the tender process in accordance with the tender conditions, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
