Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, to issue a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.334 of 2024 dated 24.09.2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent, within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.334 of 2024. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that after completion of investigation, the final report has already been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Kulithurai through e-filing and it is yet to be taken on file. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) that the final report has already been filed this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. The respondent shall furnish a copy of the final report to the petitioner. The respondent police shall take necessary steps and follow it up with the court for ensuring that the final report is taken on file.
