ORDER

The petitioner is a retired employee and he is said to have deposited all his retirement benefits in a private company on their assurance that they would provide reasonable interest. The petitioner has approached this Court that the private company has neither paid any interest nor returned the amount.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the second respondent Police has not taken the complaint of the petitioner that his complaint is only for a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- and they are supposed to conduct investigation on financial fraud for more than Rs.3 Crores. Therefore, they advised the petitioner to approach the District Crime Branch, Karur. The petitioner claims that he lodged a complaint by post to the Superintendent of Police, Karur on 04.12.2024. Even thereafter, there is no action has been taken and therefore, the petitioner filed the present petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 2/4

respondents submits that there is no proof that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the first respondent. 4.Since the petitioner is not having any document that he lodged a complaint before the first respondent, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to lodge a complaint before the first respondent. No costs.
