Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents particularly the 2nd respondent herein to transfer the patta in the name of Panchavarnam in survey no.78/2C3 Thanakkankulam Village, Thirupparankundran Taluk, Madurai District based on the sale deed document number 1849/2006 dated 14.03.2006 by considering the petitioner's online application no.2018/0105/24/115002 dated 29.12.2018 within a time frame may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents particularly the 2nd respondent herein to transfer the patta in the name of Panchavarnam in survey no.78/2C3 Thanakkankulam Village, Thirupparankundran Taluk, Madurai District based on the sale deed document number 1849/2006 dated 14.03.2006 by considering the petitioner's online application no.2018/0105/24/115002 dated 29.12.2018 within a time frame may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.K.Murugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.In order to get patta in respect of the land in survey no.78/2C3 Thanakkankulam Village, Thirupparankundran Taluk, Madurai District, in the name of one Panchavanam, who is the principal of the petitioner and the power of attorney holder, the petitioner made https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.17493 of 2019 application to the 2nd respondent on 29.12.2018 through online and has paid the necessary fee. However, since the said application still has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said representation made by the petitioner is decided by the 2nd respondent, on merits, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the 2nd respondent would decide the said application of the petitioner dated 15.07.2019 with regard to the issuance of patta in the name of Panchavarnam, who is the principal of the petitioner and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

6.Considering the said submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction:

"The 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 29.12.2018 and decide the same in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
