ORDER
This petition is filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.15 of 2021, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 465 and 468 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the case has been registered on 09.07.2021, so far no progress has been made and the amount involved around Rs.40,00,000/- has not been recovered and no arrest has also been made so far.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that within 6 months, the investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned Court. He would further submit that during the course of investigation, the 1st accused consumed poison and so, the respondents are not in a position to conclude the investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD) No.14667 of 2021 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and also considering the amount involved, necessary steps may be taken by the 2nd respondent herein to secure the accused persons, recover the amount and conclude the investigation and file the final report within a period of 5 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the aforesaid direction, this petition stands allowed.
