The petitioner seeks for a writ of Mandamus, directing first respondent to defer the departmental proceedings in the charge memo, dated 13.04.2015.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that pending writ petition, a Criminal Case in C.C.No.122 of 2015 was ended in acquittal.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous and seeks direction directing the first respondent to conclude the Departmental Proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
4. In view of the submissions made by both counsel, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous as the Criminal Case in C.C.No.122 of 2015 was ended in acquittal and therefore, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the Department to proceed with the Departmental proceedings as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
