ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to mutate the patta in S.No.235/11 in Pudur Village, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District in the name of the petitioner and his brother Lakshmanan by considering his representation dt.24.07.2015 within a stipulated time by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, he is said to have filed an application before the first respondent/District Collector on 24.07.2015, to grant patta in Sy.No.235 of 2011 of Pudur Village, Illuppur Taluk, measuring an extent of 1 acre 10 cents. The above application was forwarded to the second respondent/Tahsildar by the District Collector on 07.10.2015 to conduct enquiry and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submit a report. Sofar, no enquiry has been conducted and no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.Heard the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, who would submit that a direction may be issued to the second respondent, for considering the petitioner's application, within a time frame.

4.In the above circumstances, the second respondent/Tahsildar, Illuppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 24.07.2015, forwarded by the first respondent, on 07.10.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
