O R D E R

The criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2016, for the offences under Sections 417, 420, 384, 294(b) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, on the file of the respondent Police and file a final report.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and final report has also been filed before the Mahila Court, Sivagangai and the same was pending in Spl.S.T.C.No.1 of 2019.

3. Recording the above said submission, no further adjudication is required in this petition. The Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
