Heard both sides.

2.Even though several survey numbers have been mentioned in the writ prayer, according to the respondents, S.Nos.188/2, 189/2, 190/1 and 206/2 alone have been classified as water bodies (channel). 3.We direct the third respondent to to conduct survey of the petition mentioned water bodies. Notices will be issued to all the interested persons. If the survey exercise reveals that there is encroachment, individual notices will be issued to all the encroachers 2/4

and by adhering to due process of law, the encroachments shall be removed. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is allowed accordingly. No costs.
