ORDER
Seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission to conduct the Mulaipari Radha Oorvalam on the 5th day Mandagapadi in the place of Therku Radha Veethi, Melathaniyam Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluka, Pudukottai District connection with in the festival of Sri Muthumariyamman Temple festival at Melathaniyam Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluka, Pudukottai District scheduled to be held on 02.07.2026 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2026, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is one of the committee members of 5th day Mandagapaditharar who is organizing the village festival i.e., Muthumariyamman Temple Festival. The said festival has been celebrated for several years. To prevent any law and order issues or untoward incidents, the petitioner had requested the respondent police to provide adequate police protection by way of representation dated 08.05.2026. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/4
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to afford necessary police protection for the peaceful conduct of Mulaipari Radha Oorvalam on the 5th day Mandagapadi in the place of Therku Radha Veethi, Melathaniyam Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluka, Pudukottai District connection with in the festival of Sri Muthumariyamman Temple festival at Melathaniyam Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluka, Pudukottai District scheduled to be held on 02.07.2026.
